Ditch Witch 140BH: An older, economical backhoe attachment compatible with all models of R40 trenchers. Due to its versatile design, it is also frequently purchased for conversion and mounting on the rear of various tractor models (modifications not handled by us).
Ditch Witch A420: Specifically designed for Ditch Witch 4010, 5010, and 5110 trenchers, offering a dig depth of approximately 7 feet 6 inches. While it can physically mount to larger machines, be mindful of potential limitations due to the machine's height (reducing dig depth) and the increased power of larger machines potentially stressing a lighter-duty backhoe.
Ditch Witch A620: A larger backhoe attachment engineered for Ditch Witch 6510, 7510, 7610, and 8020 series trenchers, providing a dig depth of approximately 9 feet 6 inches.
Important Note: Power Beyond Hose
Most Ditch Witch backhoe attachments utilize a third hydraulic hose known as 'power beyond.' Proper connection of this hose to a bypass circuit is crucial to prevent pressure buildup that can damage the valve bank. Please ensure correct installation procedures are followed.
